Tournament with a Heart

Treasure Life hosted the 2009 Brass Ring Tournament in Beaumont, Alberta, on November 5 to 7, 2009. Teams from across Alberta came together for this annual event. Kids, parents, siblings, cousins, grandparents and friends enjoyed a weekend of healthy competition.

Treasure Life set up a small table with our banners and sold tickets for a large gift basket filled with chocolate and teddy bears. The basket was graciously donated by Tracy Vipond from Lamontagne. We were well-received and many of the parents and grandparents took an interest in our cause.

The Tournament brought tremendous awareness to the Foundation due to the hard work of Charlene and Rick Jenkins, who organized the tournament with assistance from many volunteers from Beaumont Ringette.

Congratulations to all the participants of the tournament, the volunteers for the hard work and long hours and this year’s winners!! Notice the Treasure Life crests worn on the jerseys of all Beaumont players. The ringette players have been great ambassadors for the foundation.
