The Evan Ty Jenkins Pediatric Research Foundation operating as “Treasure Life” is a registered Federal charitable organization enabling us to provide tax-deductible receipts for all donations $20.00 and higher. We are committed to not only improving the lives of children afflicted with heart disease but also their families. Please refer to our mission statement and objectives within this website. We endeavour to keep our expenses to an absolute minimum so that a greater part of donations flow to the intended recipients. The Evan Ty Jenkins Pediatric Research Foundation, operating as “Treasure Life,” has set out a number of strategies to meet the Foundation’s many objectives to help cardiac children and their families. Some of these strategies include working with the Stollery Children’s Hospital to help gain public awareness of congential heart disease and bring about changes that will help enhance the care and treatment of cardiac children.

Each year, the Evan Ty Jenkins Pediatric Research Foundation establishes goals for the coming year. For 2008, the Foundation is focusing on two important initiatives:

• Raise approximately $51,000 for the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, to assist in pediatric cardiac patient care.
• Raise approximately $60,000 – 70,000 through annual corporate sponsorship for the Treasure Life Bead Program.

Stollery Children’s Hospital

Many cardiac children, like Evan, have spent countless hours in the Stollery Children’s Hospital as they wait or recover from different surgeries and procedures. Ensuring the Stollery can not only maintain – but actually increase – the level of patient care is paramount to the Evan Ty Jenkins Pediatric Research Foundation. Donate Now to show your support!

Treasure Life Bead Program

The Treasure Life Bead Program is one way to help cardiac children log their journey. Starting with an anchor, each child will receive a unique bead for the different treatments they receive, with special beads for children in the hospital during the holidays.

This on-going program costs $60,000.00 – 70,000.00 per year and the Evan Ty Jenkins Pediatric Research Foundation needs your support. Donate Now or Contact Us to become an annual donor for the Treasure Life Bead Program.
