Medical Support
We are committed to funding medical research, purchasing specialized equipment, and helping kids get home from hospital sooner and safer.
This past November 2024, we invested $29,000 to purchase a non-invasive Fabian ventilator to improve the respiratory care provided at Misericordia Community Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta.
Did you know Congenital heart disease is the world’s leading birth defect?
In Canada alone, (CHD) affects about 12.3 out of every 1,000 births, or about 4,400 newborns each year.
With your generosity, we purchase advanced medical equipment that enhances care for young cardiac patients.
We fund specialized medical equipment for pediatric heart patients as needed, including Oximeters and INR Machines, which are crucial for patient care but not covered by healthcare.
This initiative has significantly improved the care and monitoring of pediatric heart patients at home.
Now, anticoagulation, oxygen saturation, infant weight, neonatal and infant blood pressure can be tracked outside of clinical settings, greatly enhancing the quality of life for young heart patients and their families.
Our mission is to treasure cardiac children and support their journey. These programs help us achieve that goal.
Help us make a difference.
