As a trusted health advocate with over 15 years experience working alongside health agencies, sponsors and donors, we ensure children get the support they need to live longer and fuller lives. Treasure Life supports research, programming and medical equipment purchases that benefit young heart patients and their families.

We are committed to keeping our expenses to an absolute minimum so that a greater part of donations flow to the intended recipients.
The foundation is run by a volunteer board which keeps administration costs low and ensures that more than 90 percent of our revenue directly supports our activities and objectives. Making sure your donation goes straight to the heart.
This past November 2024, we invested $29,000 to purchase a non-invasive Fabian ventilator to improve the care provided at Misericordia Community Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta.
This specialized medical equipment is thoughtfully designed with newborns in mind, helping reduce the risk of lung injury, respond quickly to changing conditions, and ultimately give these babies the best possible start in life.

Welcoming a newborn is a joyful milestone, but for some families, complications like premature birth or respiratory issues mean their baby must first receive specialized care in the NICU.
At Misericordia Community Hospital, a new Fabian Evolution ventilator is making a meaningful impact thanks to the generous support of the Evan Ty Jenkins Research Foundation. This advanced equipment helps fragile newborns breathe more easily, rest better, and return home sooner.

Did you know Congenital heart disease is the world’s leading birth defect?
In Canada alone, (CHD) affects about 12.3 out of every 1,000 births, or about 4,400 newborns each year.
With your generosity, we purchase advanced medical equipment that enhances care for young cardiac patients.
This initiative has significantly improved the care and monitoring of pediatric heart patients at home.
Now, anticoagulation, oxygen saturation, infant weight, neonatal and infant blood pressure can be tracked outside of clinical settings, greatly enhancing the quality of life for young heart patients and their families.
We fund specialized medical equipment for pediatric heart patients as needed, including Oximeters and INR Machines, which are crucial for patient care but not covered by healthcare.
Our mission is to treasure cardiac children and support their journey. These programs help us achieve that goal.
